The hilltop views were fine, but the room was super dark and cramped.

The hotel is nice, and has everything I need, like free parking, Wi-Fi, and a cozy lounge area. On my first stay, the staff helped me with my bags, which I appreciated. I recommend enjoying a drink at the bar with the fine views. I'm coming back for a holiday!

The service is outstanding, includes good parking. It has brand-new and extremely pleasant rooms to offer with a balcony and a view of the harbour, for instance.

No hanging space for clothes in room. Would like a toaster available as standard.

Our stay was primarily focused on the Wilderness Train journey and exploring the local area. We found our room above the shops to be cozy with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water, perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. We appreciated being within walking distance to various cafes and the boat tours across the road. It was a nice touch to have good WiFi to plan our next adventure.

Strahan itself is a beautiful town. We enjoyed the Gordon River Cruise but I think everything is very overpriced. Accommodation and meals at restaurant also overpriced for such an old building. The views and surrounding were magnificent. After finding out that the owners of Strahan Village more or less own all the other shops in town I understood why things were so expensive. My meal at the hotel wasn't very nice but my husband enjoyed his steak.
Our room was old and very dark and unfortunately right next to an exit so noisy with everyone coming in with their suitcases. I understand that I booked a cheaper room so I guess this is to be expected. Apart from that we had an enjoyable stay.

The bathroom includes a detachable shower head and quality toiletries like body wash and lotion, appreciated after a long day. The size of the room was quite excellent, giving ample space to move around comfortably.
The overall quality didn't match the size of the room, leaving a lot to be desired. The couch was unusable, practically collapsed under weight, and additional issues included a rattling air conditioner that disrupted sleep and a mini-bar with outdated juice. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, only connecting intermittently, and the dining options were underwhelming, with limited choices for vegetarians at a high price.

Thanks a lot for a very enjoyable stay on holidays. The room is reasonably priced. It has helpful stuff and boasts absolutely breathtaking views of marina. The location is stunning, next to a ship terminal. The hotel is located next to a theatre and a main street. The breakfast in the restaurant is enjoyable and delicious...

The buffet at the hotel restaurant View 42 was good especially the fresh oysters, which were fresh and creamy.
The room decorations/furniture and fixtures need upgrading.
